Not every legal situation requires full representation. If you're comfortable handling parts of your case yourself but want professional guidance on a specific piece of it, limited-scope services let you hire an attorney for exactly what you need.
Types of Services
Document Review
Already prepared your own immigration paperwork, but want a professional set of eyes on it before you file? We'll review your documents for accuracy, completeness, and potential red flags, and give you a written summary of what we find. This does not certify your application is ready to file or guarantee approval.

One-Time Strategy Consultation
If you're not sure what your options are, or which path makes sense for your situation, a paid consultation gives you dedicated time to talk it through and walk away with a clear next step — whether that's handling things yourself, hiring us for more help, or working with someone else.

How Limited-Scope Legal Services Work
Schedule A Consultation With An Attorney
Let us know which service you are interested in during your initial consultation.
Sign a Retainer Agreement Detailing the Specific, Limited-Scope Legal Services
Before we begin, we will sign a short, retainer agreement. This is necessary to ensure you understand what to expect and the limited scope of the legal services.
Limited-Scope Legal Services
Once the limited-scope legal services retainer agreement is signed, we complete the review or conduct the strategy consultation. Once the task is done, the engagement is complete. If we notice something outside what we agreed to look at, we'll tell you it's there — but helping you fix it would mean a separate conversation about full representation.
These services are meant to be a helpful, affordable option for specific tasks — they don't include representing you before USCIS, filing on your behalf, or staying on top of your case over time.
